was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to undertake
the Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) course
with Mr. Abu as my instructor. Abu is what one would consider
a "Check Point King" - his knowledge, expertise
and prowess as an instructor who truly goes the 'extra mile'
to ensure his students understand the principles concerned
made my learning experience overall absolutely rewarding and
satisfying. Abu's ability to simplify certain concepts that
appeared to be difficult into an understandable format along
with his extensive use and referral to real-life applications
and scenarios made this hands-on, perfectly blended combination
of theory and practical an excellent return on investment.
Most recognisable was Abu's enthusiasm and dedication to answering
queries and sharing 'the tricks of the trade' and not simply
put, a 'paper-certified instructor' who'd solely read directly

Having
recently sat the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
course at the ICOM training institution, I was absolutely
thrilled by the instructor Grant's knowledge and lengthy real-life,
practical experience to which he replicated and applied to
the classroom environment. Grant basically made study of the
CCNA course fun, interesting and understandable. In saying
so, I can honestly speak on behalf of myself and the other
students when I say we thoroughly enjoyed this much sought-after
technical certification due to Grant leading by example, expertise
and as a mentor readily eager and motivated to assist with
anything difficult and therefore, demonstrate the inner-workings
of the Cisco machine to truly appreciate its power and dominance

Just
thought I'd let you know I passed the Windows Server 2003
exam 70-290 first try after completing the 2274 & 2275
courses at ICOM.
This
is the first server related certification I have attained,
and the first time I have done training at ICOM. The classroom
setup was really good - the live Windows Server 2003 environment
was instrumental in giving me hands on experience with configuring
the OS and Active Directory, as well as allowing me to become
familiar with the new interface. The trainer (Sid) was also
really good - his real world administration experience was
great to draw upon, especially with regard to little Microsoft
quirks that aren't covered by any textbook. He was also realistic
about what was needed to pass the exam, telling us from day
one that the course material alone would not be sufficient.
But with a little more than 6 months Windows 2000 Server admin
experience and studying the supplied textbook and the Windows
Server 2003 help files in my own time, I was able to nail
the exam on my first attempt.
So
thanks for providing a great service at such a great price
- even though my company is paying for the training, I'd be
feeling extremely ripped off if I had gone with one of the
other places that were offering the same course at 3 times
the price!

I
have completed my MSCE/MCDBA in May 2003, I would like to
pass on my thoughts about these courses. MSCE/MCDBA is a great
achievement to gain in IT for becoming support/network and
SQL administrator. I have been studying for 2 years on my
own and I found it very hard. So I decided to do both courses
in ICOM to make sure Im going on the right track and
to complete my MCSE/MCDBA quickly. The courses in ICOM covers
everything you need to know about networking and SQL. I was
a little bit disappointed that I had not seen any women doing
these courses. >From my point of view, as a women I recommend
women who are interested in IT/support network and SQL administrator
to apply for these courses. The reason why is that MSCE/MCDBA
is the right choice to become eligible for Network/SQL administrator.
However, MSCE/MCDBA involves commitment to attend classes
after work at night time and also do self study on the weekend
to prepare you to do the exams and become Certified in Microsoft.
In conclusion, if I can do it with two children and a full
time job then you can do it. My next course is going to be
CCNA. Please remember one thing that if you have the

have done several courses with ICOM Training, starting from
A+, than MCP and CIW. I wanted to have more time between the
courses, so I could study the materials given and sit for
the exams. My needs were accommodated and I was given a choice
of dates and schedules. Although intensive, the courses were
very "hands-on" and practical and the trainers were
always accessible via email or mobile for any questions. I
loved the time spent studying matters that interested me,
the classes were quite stimulating and challenging. My favorite
course was CIW because of my passion for Internet and Internet
